1. Typical Characteristics of Men and Women:

Traditionally, men have been associated with traits like strength, assertiveness, and being the primary breadwinners. Women, on the other hand, have been associated with traits like nurturing, empathy, and domesticity. However, it's important to note that these are stereotypes and individuals can exhibit a wide range of traits regardless of gender.

2. Parental Responsibilities and Housework Division:

Historically, mothers have often been expected to take on the primary caregiving roles, including child-rearing and household chores. Fathers have typically been expected to be providers and to take on tasks seen as "man's work" around the house, such as yard work or home repairs. However, in modern times, there's a growing recognition of the need for more equitable division of household and childcare responsibilities, regardless of parents' gender or work status.

3. Expectations for Sons vs. Daughters:

There have traditionally been different societal expectations for sons and daughters, with boys often encouraged to be strong, independent, and assertive, while girls may be encouraged to be nurturing, accommodating, and focused on appearance. However, there's a growing movement towards raising children in a more gender-neutral way, allowing them to explore a wider range of interests and traits without being limited by societal expectations based on their gender.

4. Toys and Gender Norms:

Buying toys based on gender stereotypes can limit children's opportunities for exploration and development. It's important to allow children to choose toys based on their interests rather than their gender.

5. Gendered Expectations and Equality:

Society often imposes different expectations on men and women, such as women being expected to be more emotional and nurturing while men are expected to be strong and stoic. However, these expectations are shifting as more people advocate for gender equality. While men and women may have biological differences, these differences do not determine their abilities or worth.

6. Influences on Gender Roles and Domestic Violence:

Gender roles are influenced by a variety of factors including culture, media, religion, and family upbringing. While gender roles themselves are not the sole cause of domestic violence, they can contribute to power imbalances and reinforce harmful stereotypes that justify or excuse abusive behavior. Addressing domestic violence requires a multi-faceted approach that includes challenging gender norms, promoting education and awareness, and providing support for survivors.

7. Feminism and Gender Equality:

Feminism is the belief in social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. Being a feminist means advocating for the rights and opportunities of all genders. Measures to promote gender equality are essential for creating a fair and just society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive regardless of their gender.

8. Traditional Gender Roles and Modern Perspectives:

The image likely highlights traditional gender roles that have existed in society, such as the expectation that women should be homemakers and men should be breadwinners. These patriarchal ideas continue to influence modern social perspectives, but there's a growing recognition of the need to challenge and dismantle these stereotypes in order to achieve true gender equality.

       Pada suatu hari Aku telah sampai pada semester 7 di perkuliahan, yang ada mata kuliah Seminar of Research Proposal atau yang biasa di singkat SEMPRO.
