College Ambition
Ava had always been ambitious, but she didn't know what she wanted to do with her life until she started college. She was studying business and had dreams of one day owning her own company. But her ambition didn't stop there. She wanted to be the best in her class, to graduate with honors, and to land a job with a top company.
Ava's roommate, Sarah, had a different ambition. She was studying environmental science and had a passion for sustainability. She dreamed of working for a company that was committed to reducing its carbon footprint and protecting the environment. Sarah didn't care about getting straight A's or graduating with honors, as long as she was making a difference in the world.
Despite their different ambitions, Ava and Sarah became close friends. They bonded over their love for coffee and studying in the library. They also helped each other through the stress of college life.
One day, Ava received an email about an internship opportunity with a well-known business company. The internship promised to be a great opportunity for anyone looking to jumpstart their career. Ava was thrilled and applied immediately. Sarah, on the other hand, received an email about an internship with an environmental conservation organization. It wasn't a paid internship, but Sarah didn't care. It was her dream internship.
Ava was confident that she would get the internship. She had a great GPA (IPK) and had participated in several extracurricular activities. However, she was shocked when she received an email saying that she didn't get the position. The email explained that there were many qualified candidates, but they could only select a few.
Ava was devastated. She had worked so hard and felt like she had let herself down. She didn't know what she was going to do now. Meanwhile, Sarah was over the moon. She had received the internship and was excited to start making a difference.
As the semester continued, Ava struggled to find her place. She had lost her ambition and didn't know what to do with her life. She began to envy Sarah, who was doing what she loved and making a difference in the world.
One day, Sarah noticed that Ava seemed down and asked her what was wrong. Ava confided in Sarah and told her how she had lost her ambition. Sarah listened patiently and then reminded Ava of her strengths. She reminded Ava of how hard she had worked and how much potential she had.
Sarah also reminded Ava that ambition doesn't have to be about making a lot of money or getting a prestigious job. Ambition can be about making a difference in the world and following your passions. Sarah's words resonated with Ava and she began to feel inspired once again.
Ava decided to look for opportunities to make a difference in the world. She started volunteering at a local food bank and discovered that she had a passion for helping people. She also joined a sustainability club on campus and began to learn more about environmental issues. Ava realized that there was more to life than just a good job and a high salary. She wanted to make a difference in the world and follow her passions, just like Sarah.
As the semester came to a close, Ava and Sarah reflected on their ambitions. They realized that they had different paths in life, but they both shared the same desire to make a difference in the world. They both had found their own way to achieve their ambitions, and that was what mattered most.
Ava may not have gotten the internship she wanted, but she had found a new ambition. She had discovered a passion for helping others and making a difference in the world. Sarah had found her ambition too, and was excited to start her dream internship. Despite their different paths, they both knew that they would always be there to support each other and encourage each other's ambitions.
